Blenders meet The Beatles. To cut through holiday clutter, we reimagined the sounds of kitchen prep as an experimental vinyl record—remixing chopping, rinsing, and blending into a soothing, Beatles-inspired White Noise Album. Timed with the White Album’s 55th anniversary, it offered a playful escape from seasonal chaos. Though unreleased due to unforeseen circumstances, it remains a favorite project of those who worked on it—a testament to bold ideas, creative risk-taking, and the power of culture-driven branding.

HONING MY CREATIVE POV

We went through countless iterations and client presentations for this project, which was poised to be one of our biggest media moments of the year, perfectly timed for the holidays. This was one of the first projects where I truly honed my creative point of view as an Art Director and developed confidence in articulating my vision and aesthetic choices. I began by crafting the initial art direction and moodboards, gaining alignment and securing client approvals at every stage. I led the overarching art direction, which included video storyboard development, audio-scape design, color scheme creation, talent casting, wardrobe and prop styling, pre-production book creation, and the post-production refinement process.

LEARNING A VALUABLE LESSON

The biggest challenge was navigating extensive revisions and unexpected delays caused by shifting client management, which ultimately led to the project not being aired. However, from being in the recording studio and watching the pros transform the act of blending fruits and vegetables into music, to diving deep into research on The Beatles’ White Album to weave in as many Easter eggs as possible, I really fell in love with the creative process—embracing all its highs and lows along the way.
